Huntington Supervisor Chad Lupinacci has hired Joshua Price as his new chief of staff to lead his office.
Price, a former Republican and Conservative Party candidate for the town board, joined Lupinacci’s staff on July 9, according town spokeswoman Lauren Lembo.
Lembo said the chief of staff position existed before Price’s appointment, but that Lupinacci had chosen not to fill the position.
Price, a Huntington resident since 2001, has been a “trusted advisor” to Lupinacci since 2012 when he first ran for election in the New York State Assembly.
Price, a Hofstra University Law School Grad, founded the Manhattan-based The Price Law Firm in 2011. His areas of practice include real estate and personal injury litigation.
Price most recently served as senior assistant commissioner for the Suffolk County Board of Elections since November 2015. He also served as counsel to the board of elections.
The part-time chief of staff position for the Supervisor’s office comes with a salary of $68,000, according to Lembo.
