The Heckscher Museum of Art’s latest exhibition, “Long Island’s Best: Young Artists,” is on display through April 15. The Easter Bunny will be hopping into Northport Village this Saturday. Find him walking along Main Street, greeting residents and handing out some sweet treats. Be sure to snap a picture with the Bunny if you happen to spot him during his Northport Chamber of Commerce-sponsored hop around.

at The Whaling Museum (279 Main St., Cold Spring Harbor)
Cost: $12 parent-child pairing; $4 per sibling

The Whaling Museum and Education Center is hosting a fun filled afternoon for kids ages 2-7 who can learn about all different types of animals who lay eggs. See a real scrimshawed ostrich egg, then go on an egg hunt all around the museum and finish the day off by decorating a Faberge-style egg to take home.
