The Town of Huntington has organized its first Halloween costume photo contest with prizes from local establishments and funds being donated in the winner's name to hurricane relief efforts.

The Huntington Cares Halloween Costume Photo Contest For A Cause, headed by the Town of Huntington Human Services Institute and Councilman Mark Cuthbertson, tasks residents with submitting a Halloween-themed photograph in any or all of five categories: Babies, Pets, Children, Families, or Adults.

The photograph that yields the most votes in each category will receive prizes courtesy of restaurants and stores in Huntington. There is also a grand prize that will be awarded to the contestant with the most votes, which includes an iPad and a $2,500 donation to be made in the winner’s name to Save the Children Hurricane Maria Children's Relief Fund.

Photos can be submitted at Tohcares.com until 12 midnight, Nov. 3, and voting will be open on the same website until 12 midnight, Nov. 10. Contest winners will be notified on Nov. 17.
