Four Hurt, Including Child, In Two-Car Crash In Huntington Station

Three adults and a child were hurt in a two-car crash in Huntington Station on Sunday, according to Huntington Community First Aid Squad officials.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Oakwood Road and Wexford Street at around 12:43 p.m.

Upon arrive, Squad officials said, a crew found a woman trapped in an overturned SUV.

Huntington Manor Fire Department was called to the scene to stabilize the vehicle and remove the windshield and roof so EMS personnel could extricate the victim.

The female, in her 70s, was brought to Huntington Hospital with neck and back injuries.

A second ambulance called to the scene brought to Huntington Hospital victims of the second vehicle, a male and female, both in their 40s, and an around 3-year-old child, who was restrained in a rear child seat.

The driver and passenger were treated for minor injuries, and the child was evaluated.

Along with two ambulances, the Squad responded with an ALS First Responder, Sunday Day Captain and its medical director.

Cops Seek Woman Wanted In Commack Hit-And-Run Crash

Suffolk police are searching for a woman they say is responsible for a hit-and-run crash in Commack earlier in February.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers said the woman, pictured, was driving a white pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet Silverado, in the parking lot of ShopRite at 1 Garet Place when at 6:13 p.m. on Feb. 11 she struck a parked 2007 Mercedes.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Those with information about this incident is asked to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or submitting an email through Tipsubmit.com.

PD: Trio Stole $1.5K In Merchandise From Louis Vuitton Store

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate three people they say stole over $1,500 in merchandise from a Huntington Station store earlier this year.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives said the two men and one woman stole two scarves valued at over $1,500 from the Louis Vuitton Store within Sacks Fifth Avenue at 230 Walt Whitman Road at around 4 p.m., Jan. 27.

Multiple Injuries In Greenlawn Crash, Firefighters Say

A two-vehicle crash resulted in multiple injuries last Thursday evening in Greenlawn, fire officials said.

Greenlawn firefighters said in a Facebook post that they responded

 to the scene of the crash at Broadway and E. Maple Road at around 6:18 p.m.

Injured patients were treated and transported by EMS crews.

Greenlawn firefighters applied speedy dry for fluids on the roadway.

Units were under the direction of Fire Chief Mike Bellis.
