Jeep Overturns After Turnpike Crash
/A Jeep overturned on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station Tuesday night following a three-vehicle crash, fire officials said.
One person was injured in the crash and brought to Huntington Hospital by the Huntington Community First Aid Squad.
The crash occurred at around 8:45 p.m. at the intersection of Jericho Turnpike and Pidgeon Hill Road.
The Huntington Manor Fire Department, HCFAS and Suffolk police responded to the crash. Firefighters secured the vehicles, which also included a Lexus sedan, fire officials said.
Around 20 Huntington Manor firefighters were on the scene with two engines and a heavy rescue truck under the direction of Chief Mike DePasquale and Third Assistant Chief Jim Glidden.
