Treat Dad To Brunch This Father's Day Weekend
/This Sunday is Father’s Day, and restaurants across town are offering brunch specials for the occasion.
A restaurant that offers a significant brunch experience, The Shed (54 New St., Huntington) is another hotspot to treat dad this Father’s Day. The Shed is offering its usual brunch menu, which includes favorites like Avocado Toast and Sunny Eggs ($13). The visually-stunning dish pairs avocado, watermelon radish and tomato spread on toast with two sunny side up eggs.
The special Father’s Day menu will also feature chief’s specials like a Ribeye steak with bleu cheese butter and widow Jane bourbon onions; as well as Giffords from Maine ice cream cookie sandwich sliders, perfect for dads who have a sweet tooth.
With Father’s Day projected to be a beautiful day, The Shed’s outside patio should also be a great spot to spend the morning and early afternoon.

Over at Besito (402 New York Ave., Huntington), Father’s Day could get spicy with a special Mexican-themed brunch.
The brunch will feature a number of specials, including Besito’s popular Guacamole.
Entree specials include Arrachera con Camarones ($34), which features pan-seared jumbo shrimp and grilled skirt steak, tomato jalapeno chile salsa, sweet plantains and queso fresco cilantro.
The cocktail menu features a special Margarita de Tamarindo ($13), which is made with Milagro Reposado tequila, Chile Ancho Reyes, tamarind-passion fruit puree, agave nectar, fresh-squeezed lime juice and chile piquin salt rim.

At The Refuge (515 Broadhollow Road, Melville) dads eat their fill at a special Father’s Day Brunch Buffet.
The buffet will be open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, with costs set at $44.94/adult, $19.95/children ages 12 and under (children age 5 and under admitted free).
The price includes coffee and soft drinks, but Bloody Marys and mimosas will also be available ($5 each).
After brunch, the full dinner menu will be available.
