Half Hollow Hills West routed Sayville, 37-6, to earn its fourth straight trip to Suffolk County’s championship round.

The Colts used 351 total yards of offense on Saturday afternoon to rattle off 31 unanswered points for the win.

Running back Deyvon Wright led the charge with 139 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries.

Quarterback Gerald Filardi passed for 83 yards and a touchdown on 5-of-10 efficiency. Filardi also rushed for a one-yard score, one of his three rushing attempts that totaled nine yards.

His favorite receiver was Justin Brown who caught two passes, including a touchdown, for a total of 52 yards. Brown also rushed seven times for a total of 71 yards and one touchdown.

For their efforts, the Colts have earned the program’s fourth consecutive trip to Suffolk’s championship game. This year, competing in Suffolk Division III, the Colts will face top-seeded Westhampton, one of two teams to defeat the Colts this season. The other loss came to Sayville.

The championship game is slated for Saturday at 12 noon at Stony Brook University. There will be a $6 admission fee.
