Gay Pride Parade Marks Milestone
/Thousands lined the streets and packed Heckscher Park Saturday afternoon to celebrate the 25th annual Long Island pride parade in Huntington village.
The parade featured elected officials from across Long Island, union representatives, inclusive churches and the members of dozens of local high school gay-straight alliances, including those from several Town of Huntington schools.
