Three Men Attempt To Rob 21-Year-Old In Greenlawn, Cops Say

Suffolk police said three men attempted to rob a 21-year-old man at the 7-Eleven at 247 Broadway in Greenlawn early Saturday morning.
Three men attempted to rob a man in Greenlawn early Saturday morning, Suffolk police said.
A 21-year-old man was exiting his vehicle in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven at 247 Broadway when three men approached him at around 12:18 a.m., according to police. One of the men displayed a handgun and struck the victim in the head, police said. However, the victim fled without surrendering any proceeds and contacted police.
One suspect was described as standing at around 5-foot-7 with a thin build, and in his late teens. He was seen wearing dark clothing.
The second male was described as standing at around 5-foot-10 and weighing around 150 pounds. He was seen wearing dark clothing and a mask.
The third male was described as wearing dark clothing.
The investigation is continuing, and police ask anyone with information on the incident to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252, or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
