Huntington Honda Presents $5K Check To ‘Give A Dog A Dream’

Huntington Supervisor Frank Petrone accepted a $5,000 check from Huntington Honda on Wednesday on behalf of the town’s Give A Dog A Dream Foundation.

Petrone thanked the automobile dealership for its support of the town’s efforts to adopt dogs at the Huntington Town Animal Shelter by sponsoring two adoption fairs at its showroom.

Give A Dog A Dream is the non-profit the town created to raise money earmarked for providing specialized services for dogs at the animal shelter. As part of its support for Give A Dog A Dream, Huntington Honda committed to making a donation for every car sold in April and June, up to $5,000. The dealership also sponsored the two adoption events.

During Wednesday’s adoption event, Petrone accepted the check from Irfan Mohammed, general manager at Huntington Honda, and thanked him for the company’s commitment to helping shelter dogs find forever homes.
