Suffolk police said a male bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in Huntington village Friday afternoon.

The bicyclist was riding on New York Avenue, near the Elm Street intersection, when he was struck.

Police said the bicyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Huntington Hospital by the Huntington Community First Aid Squad, said a squad spokeswoman.
