The former location of Ideal's Element in Huntington village will soon be the home of S.T.A.G.S. Tap House.

A new gastro pub is coming in April to Huntington village in the former location of Ideal’s Element.

S.T.A.G.S. Tap House (308 Main St., Huntington) plans to serve an eclectic upscale style of American food, using a variety of flavors and local ingredients prepared by Executive Chief Adam Goldgell, co-owner of the pub Joe Forgione said.

Forgione and his business partners Jeff States and Mike Garbeeian plan to focus on providing local products, including beer.

Forgione said the rustic-themed pub will offer 40 beers on tap and 20-40 bottled beers, including IPAs, stouts, seasonal beers and more. The 28-foot-long bar will also offer around 10-20 different types of wine.

STAGS, which is a combination of the initials of Forgione’s and States’ children, plans to charge $7-$12 for beer, depending on the quality.

In addition, Forgione said that the approximately 1500-square-foot pub plans to consistently rotate beer and wine to give “customers a little bit more variety.”
