PD: Man Seriously Injured In Huntington Station Crash

A 20-year-old Huntington Station man is in serious condition after he was struck by an SUV as he tried to walk across New York Avenue in Huntington Station Saturday night, Suffolk police said
Police said Antonio Molina was walking on New York Avenue, 100 feet north of East 18th St. at 10:55 p.m., when he attempted to cross the road and was struck by a 2002 Jeep traveling northbound.
Molina was transported via police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.
The driver of the Jeep, Erin Kelly, 26, of Huntington Station, was not injured in the crash.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
A bicyclist was seriously injured Thursday afternoon after he was struck by an SUV in Huntington, Suffolk police said.
