Mill Pond House of Centerport has been serving American-inspired dishes since 2003, but the longstanding restaurant was closed for businesses as of late as it underwent major renovations to both its look, and its menu.

A new gastro pub is coming in April to Huntington village in the former location of Ideal’s Element.

La Piazza’s origins began 30 years ago when the first location was opened by the Branchinelli family in Plainview. Its success led to a second location in Merrick 16 years ago, and then to its current Melville location at 972 Walt Whitman Road five years ago.

After closing Pomodoro Ristorante & Pizza 10 years ago, the Machado family is bringing the popular Roman-style Italian restaurant back to Huntington village. This time, it will add a touch of Tuscany and be called Salumeria Pomodoro.
