ADULT CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE: If there’s never a bad time for a chocolate milkshake, there’s never a bad time for a malted martini. At least, that’s what we’re going to keep telling ourselves. Our fried Scott, the bartender at Café Buenos Aires (23 Wall St., Huntington, 631-603-3600, www.cafebuenosaires.net) created the signature drink, which tastes like a milkshake, frothy but smooth, and with some added pizzazz (as well as chocolate drizzle and whipped cream). It’s perfect for those of us who’d rather drink dessert that eat it. Tell Scott you read about it here!

The malted martini at Café Buenos Aires is a chocolate milkshake for adults.

BLONDEES BOOMS: Catch some love music every Friday night at 7:30 p.m. at Blondees Bistro & Bar (26 Clinton Ave., Huntington, 631-673-1300, blondeesbistro.com). The best part is it’s right in the middle of happy hour, when from 5-8 p.m., drinks are buy one, get one. Take advantage of the open-air setup at the Tuscan-inspired eatery while it’s still summer, and don’t forget to try the duck puffy tacos.
